HCL me u1 flash reset

Download Firmware from  here 1. run MPTool.exe 2. click the setting button 3. click the button for PAK and choose the PAK file named vortex.pak 4. then click the Save and Return button. 5. connect the USB to the device and your device should be in power off state. 6. press the power button and the button next to the power button at the same time. 7. if step 6 is success you will get a vdfu disk. 8. press the scan button, wait till the scan finishes. 9. if step 8 is success, the update button will be enabled, click the update button. 10. when the update is completed, the device will reboot automatically, if not pls reset the device and then press the power button. For the 1st time the device reboots for 5 to 10min. Now it is brand new HCL ME U1 with inbuilt playstore.

Inbox.dbx file Corruption Fix

If you are using windows Outlook Express as your mail client after 2GB of mails have been received the Inbox.dbx file would be crashed any time. You can retrieve them back by a simple method i will tell you here..... Download  Undbx 0.21.zip Extract the files run undbx.hta browse the location of damaged .dbx file choose the location for recovered files click extract After completing open Outlook Express create a folder under folders named "Inbox till DD/MM/YYYY" open "Inbox till DD/MM/YYYY" folder select the extracted ".eml" files drag it to the outlook express Now the mails will be in your "Inbox till DD/MM/YYYY" folder you can access it any time......

Some times the Outlook express goes hang and it will not send and receive Emails shows errors when clicking send and receive button The problem is inbox gets full. Means the inbox.dbx file cannot be more than 2GB So when it gets 2GB Outlook will not send & receive mails The solution is. Go to Outlook Express and Create a folder under Folders Rename as "inbox till DD/MM/YY" eg:"inbox till 02/03/12" close Outlook Express Go to storage folder Right click> "inbox till DD/MM/YY.dbx" file>click rename>right click on the file name> copy the file name> then rename that file as"temp" Right click on "Inbox.dbx">Rename> select the whole file name> right click on it> Paste You can see the name "Inbox.dbx" has been replace with "inbox till DD/MM/YY.dbx" Now close the storage folder and open Outlook Express You can see the old mails in "inbox till DD/MM/YY.dbx" folder Als
